Geraldine Gonyo

Geraldine (Williams) Gonyo 76, of Cromwell, CT passed away peacefully on Friday, June 20. Gerry was born on November 18, 1937 in Burlington, VT, the daughter of the late Raymond and Alberta (Latour) Williams. Gerry was employed at EIS Brakes and Eyelet Specialty as an assembler for many years. She was a former restaurant owner/operator in Burlington, VT. She was an avid Bingo, card and cribbage player. She loved crocheting and crafts. Gerry was the “Princess” of Aurora living center and adored by staff and residents. She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Karl J.) Longe of Jeffersonville, VT, Holly (Kevin) Eimutus of Clinton, CT, Todd (Sue) Bohen of Milton, VT, Stacey Ingalls of Fletcher, VT, Harold (Erin) Gonyo of Barre, VT, Tiffany (Royce) Hadden of Rocky Hill, CT and step-daughter Brenda Mallock of NH. Grandchildren: Josh and Kasey Longe, Taylor, Eliott, and Alexander Eimutus, Candice Emerson , Kyle Gonyo, Christina Braun, Anthony and Logan Hadden, Shawn and Eric McManis, five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, longtime love AJ Achenbach, her late husband Harold Gonyo, brothers: Gerald Williams and Raymond Foy. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Tpke. (Rte. 44) Coventry, CT 06238. A Funeral Home Service will follow at 8:00 PM at the Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Vermont later this week.
