Mrs. Rexa Gunn Walters age 85, a resident of Forest, MS passed away on Monday May 26, 2014 in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 29, 2014 from 9:30 AM until 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Cemetery in Forest, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Duncan. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Walters was a lifelong resident of the Piketon Community in Scott County. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Forest, MS. She was an avid outdoorsman who loved gardening, fishing and hunting. Mrs. Walters is preceded in death by her parents and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, K.C. Walters of Forest, MS.; two daughters, Delores Nokes and husband Bert of Pearl, MS.; Margaret Breeden and husband Mel of Brandon,MS.; one sister, Floy Wall of Forest, MS.; one brother, Marshall Gunn of Forest, MS.; one grandchild, Elizabeth Nokes of Jackson, MS.; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
