Mrs. Mildred H. Arthur age 87, a resident of Jackson, MS passed away on Friday May 23, 2014 at Mississippi Care Center in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Sunday May 25, 2014 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Monday May 26, 2014 from 9:00 AM until 9:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Monday May 26, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will be held on Monday May 26, 2014 at 12 Noon at Lottville Cemetery in Farmhaven, MS. Rev. Billy Ray Parker will officiate the services. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Arthur had been a resident of Morton, MS since November 2013, formerly living in Canton,MS where she resided in the Madison County Nursing Home for 14 years. She had been a long time resident of Jackson, MS and was a member of the Broadmeadow United Methodist Church in Jackson,MS. Mrs. Arthur is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Alice Heavrin, five brothers, Carl, George, Frank, Glen, and Clinton Heavrin, one sister, Alice Pratt. She is survived by one son, Jimmy Arthur and wife Patricia of Morton, MS.; one daughter, Pam Neal and husband Bill of Little Rock, AR.; one sister, Vera Fix of Washington, one brother, Al Heavrin of Sweet, ID.; nine grandchildren, Megan Arthur Irby, Angela Thompson, Michelle Tucker, Clif Neal, Brad Neal, Mandy Neal Eruagbere, Lauren Neal, Kristen Champion, Cody Jackson; nine great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
