Mrs. Sue Wilson Boothe, 63, of Sardis, MS, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. Mrs. Boothe, an educator, was born on January 7, 1951 in Memphis, TN to The Late Geraldine Fitts Wilson and Arnold Wilson. She was a member of the Sardis First Baptist Church and served as a board member of the Heflin House Museum in Sardis. She was active in Friends of the Library in Sardis and in the Sardis Women's Club. Mrs. Boothe is survived by two sons, Al Boothe (Candace) of Sardis, MS and Brandon Boothe (Jennifer) of Southaven, MS; one sister, Willie Jo Goodwin of Como, MS; one brother, Marshall Wilson of Harmontown; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 2pm in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in McGhee's Chapel Cemetery near Sardis. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 12-2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to McGhee's Chapel Cemetery. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
