MCKAY, Marilyn "Marlene" Victoria (nee Schinkel) - passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at Woodstock Hospital. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba August 9, 1944. Beloved wife of 48 years to John Allan McKay and dearly loved mother to Scott (Bridgette) and Shelly. She will be missed by her grandsons Justin, Brett, Ethan and by her furry friend Brownie. Dear sister of Yvonne (Garry) Reid, Donna (Wally) Phillips, Hertzel (Bill) Naumoff, Allen Schinkel, Paul (Kris) Schinkel, Myna (James) Haluck, Karen (Gary) Lipchen, Rhonda (Jeff) Tipping, and sister-in-law: Sandy (Gerald) Betker. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Violet Schinkel as well as her brothers, Ernest and Don Schinkel. Loving in-laws James, Hugh, Bill (Kim), Rose Mary MacRobbie (late Ian), and Donald (Donna). Predeceased by Mike, Leo, and John Richard. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends. A private memorial service will be held at BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, 519-539-0004.
