Lavina Maxcine Little, 73, of Batesville, MS, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Tri Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, MS. She was a faithful member of Crowder Baptist Church, who loved her faith in Christ and enjoyed her family. Mrs. Little is survived by six daughters, Glenda Kay Kennedy of Batesville, MS, Brenda Gay Crocker of Oakland, MS, Margie Ann Taylor of Highland, TX, Charlotte Joan Banks of Coldwater, MS, Patricia Ann Warren of Newport, NC, and Emma Faye McIntyer of Southaven, MS; two sons, John Edward Kennedy of Pope, MS and John Little of Augusta, AR; three sisters, Nettie May Dunway, Aretta Goodson and Virginia Earline Woodlift; one brother, Hancle Ray of Nesbit, MS; twenty-one grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, The Late Samuel Earl Little, one son, The Late David Earl Little; one sister, The Late Mary Lee Townsand; two brothers, The Late Ralph Ray and Earl Ray; and her parents, The Late Mary Stillwell and Marvin Earl Ray. Memorial contributions may be made to Crowder Baprist Church, PO Box 156, Crowder, MS 38622. Dickins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
