Virginia Freeman, 56, of Russellville, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014, at her home. She was born September 25, 1957, in Berry Springs, Michigan, daughter of Pete and Geneva Searcy Engles. She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband, James Freeman; mother; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and husband Shan McNamara of Hector; 6 sons and daughter-in-laws, Kenny Adams and wife Stacy of Hector, Jerry Adams and wife Kathy of Atkins, Ray Adams and wife Lisa of Hector, Jamie Freeman and wife Misty of Rhode Island, Greg Freeman and wife Kelly of Colorado Springs, and Bryan Freeman and wife Tracy of Pottsville; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Michael Bates of Hector, Johnny Bates of Russellville, Charles Engles of Marianna, and Jimmy Bates and wife Hazel of Dover; sisters, Wilma and husband Jerry Thacker of Hector, Mary Malone of Alabama, Donna and husband Kenny Darter of Hector, and Evelyn and husband Chris Pittman of Jacksonville; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 17, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Terry Thacker and Rev. Terry Anthony officiating. Burial is in Rest Haven Memorial Park by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday. Pallbearers are Mark Bates, C.J. Harshberger, Kevin Darter, Delbert Chapman, Kennith Armstead, J.J. Gray, Bob Williams and Terry Knight. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made to the Virginia Freeman funeral fund, c/o Lemley Funeral Service, P.O.
