James Brian Medved

James Brian Medved, 44, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of Friday, April 11, 2014 at Greenery Specialty Care Center of Canonsburg.

Born September 13, 1969 in New Castle, he was the son of Wilhelmina J. Brown Medved of New Castle who survives. In addition to his mother, he is survived by 2 brothers, Joseph Michael Medved and his wife, Carolyn of Pittsburgh and Timothy A. Medved of Austintown, OH; 2 nieces, Cassandra Medved and Angel Gallagher; a nephew, Shawn Gallagher; a great nephew, Giovianni Cipriani and 2 great nieces, Payton & Dallis Gallagher.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Family & friends will be received on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 10 AM to 11AM at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 941 S. Mill St., New Castle, PA 16101 where a memorial service will also be held Tuesday at 11 AM with Rev. Matthew Bupp, officiating.

Burial will take place in Parkside Cemetery.
