ALIKIOTIS, Nikolaos -

Nikos passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday April 11, 2014 after a courageous battle with kidney disease and cancer in his 63rd year. He was born, raised and worked in Athens Greece until his transfer to Toronto in 1984 to work at the new offices of Olympic Airways. Niko is survived by his beloved wife Roula and their loving son Perikli. Niko will also be deeply missed by his beloved children, Erriko and Eleanora, his cherished sister Katerina and his loving nephew George and his wife Maxine. He is survived by his first wife Martha. Niko will be fondly remembered by cousins, nephews, nieces, family members in Greece and many friends worldwide. Visitation will be held at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, (North of Rexdale Blvd.,) on Monday, April 14, from 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 9pm. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 10am at the Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1 Brookhaven Drive, Toronto, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations made to the Kidney Foundation of Toronto in memory of Nikos, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
