Carole Ann Shuler Barber
<p>Carole Ann Shuler Barber, 71, of New Castle passed away on April 5, 2014, at the Haven Convalescent Home due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis. </p><p><br></p><p>She was born in New Castle on June 3, 1942, the daughter of the late Harold, Sr. and Sarah Russell Shuler. Carole had previously worked at the Lawrence County Correctional Facility as a cook and in earlier years, Airway Luggage.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include her daughter, Karin Shriver and husband Mark of Boise, Idaho, two grandchildren, Ashleigh Croushore and Pearce Shriver; her sister, Donna Lyons; her nephew, Nicholas Shuler, Sr. and his wife Karole of New Castle and her niece, Rita Shuler of Roanoke, Texas.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, Carole is preceded in death by her brother, Harold Pearce Shuler & his wife Ann Peluso Shuler. </p><p><br></p><p>There will be no calling hours.
