Joanne M. Cole, 76, (Joanne Marie Margaret Warren Cole-you’re here now!) of Decatur, IN passed on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Woodcrest Nursing Center. Joanne was born to Arthur and Madalyn (Howe) Warren on April 29, 1937 in Holyoke, MA. Joanne was formerly married to Roger Cole for 25 years. Joanne was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and formerly of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake Worth, FL. She worked for Adams Memorial Hospital for over 30 years. Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Burke and Sharolyn (Tim) Faurote, both of Decatur, IN; siblings, Jean Kirejczyk, Arthur Warren, Marilyn Niquette, Stephen Warren, Kathleen Ursia, Patricia Begos, Michael Warren, Rita Laughnane and James (Baby Jim) Warren; 10 grandchildren, Adam Burke, Grace Manley, Lydia Cress, Silas Burke, Sean (Jennifer) Faurote, Ben (Catherine) Faurote, Alex (Emily) Faurote, Madalyn (David) Owens, Clark Faurote and Cadence Faurote; 12 great grandchildren, Josi Burke, Garrett & Austin Manley, Halei, Calvin, Aiden, Oliver, Henry, Charlie & Hannah Faurote, Samson & Abel Owens. Joanne was preceded in death by two sons, Steven and Aaron, who died in infancy, and a brother, Roy Warren. Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014 at St. Mary’s Parish Hall followed by a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Father David Voors will be officiating. In lieu of Flowers, family requests that memorials be made to St. Joseph School or Wyneken School.
