James O. Eurto, 67, of Coventry, beloved husband of Pauline (Roy) Eurto, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. He was born July 24, 1946 in Hartford, son of the late Charles and Katherine (Smith) Eurto. James was a veteran serving in the Air force. He worked as an aircraft mechanical engineer at Pratt & Whitney until retirement at the age of 64. He was an avid gardener, fisherman, sports fan and talker; he enjoyed working hard at everything he did. James took pride in helping everyone around him. Besides his wife Pauline, he is survived by his daughter Lindsay Eurto and her fiancé Travis Burba, his step-daughter Jessie-Lin Whitlock and her fiancé Justin, his step-son Lee Devito and his wife Teresa. He also leaves his brothers Irv and Ray Eurto, several brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Shane Eurto and his first wife Victoria Lafave. Relatives and friends may join the family on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 3-4 PM at the Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Tpke (Rt. 44), Coventry, CT 06238.
