Mae Riddle

Mae Belle Riddle, age 83, 750 Carolina Avenue, Erwin, died Friday, March 21, 2014, following a lengthy illness. She was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Grover and Hazel Huskins Elliott. Mrs. Riddle was employed by Industrial Garment for a number of years. She was of the Church of God faith. Other than her parents, Mrs. Riddle was preceded in death by a daughter, Patty Ann Kosier, a grandson, Cody Riddle, a brother, Claude Elliott and three sisters, Lorraine Fanning, Mary Ruth Saffold and Janice Street. Survivors include two sons, Larry Riddle and wife, Connie and Ronnie Riddle, all of Erwin. One daughter, Leigh Groff and husband, Gary of Stuttgart, Germany. Two brothers, Jimmy Elliott of Jonesborough and Eugene Elliott of Johnson City. Five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Committal Service was held at 3:30 P. M. Monday, March 24, 2014, in the McInturff Cemetery, Rock Creek Community, Erwin. Reverend Ron Fender officiated.
