Wanda Ledford

Wanda R. Ledford, age 65, Davis Junction, Illinois, formerly of the Tri-City area, went home to be with the Lord Thursday morning, March 6, 2014, at her home. She was born June 8, 1948 in Washington County, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Woodrow and Evelyn Ruth Broyles Ledford. Wanda was a caring, loving and devoted mom, grandmother and sister. She was of the Baptist faith. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Nathaniel Luke Arnold. Wanda is survived by four daughters: Tammie Arnold and husband, Andy, Carter County, Sherry Darnell and fiance, Tim Archer, Washington County, Lisa Smith, Cleveland, Tennessee and Cathy Richardson, Johnson City; seven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; a brother, Harold Ledford and wife, Cheryl, Davis Junction, Illinois; two nieces. Funeral service for Wanda will be held at 12:00 Noon Monday, March 10, 2014, from the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Ricky Potter will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Tim Archer, Josh Ellis, and her grandsons. The family will receive friends prior to the service between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon Monday. Interment will follow the visitation and service at Washington County Memory Gardens.
