Phyllis Snyder Obituary

Phyllis Ann James Snyder,68, of Shenandoah Junction, passed away on August 18, 2013 at her home. Phyllis was born to the late Jessie and Dorothy James, February 3, 1945, in Martinsburg, WV. She is survived by one brother, Willard James and preceded in death by Franklin "Buddy" James. Phyllis is survived by her husband Curtis E. Snyder, three children; Michael Summerson of Myrtle Beach, SC, David Summerson of Gettysburg, PA and Christina Ritchie and her husband Tony of Martinsburg., four grandchildren: Laiken and Lacie Summerson, Logan Mason and Nicholas Ritchie: three stepchildren: Rick Snyder and wife Lisa, John Snyder and wife Colleen and Lynn Turner; seven step-grandchildren and two step great grandchildren, Jaxson and Hadley. Phyllis was an active member in many ministries of the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church in Martinsburg. A celebration of Phyllis' life will be held at Full Gospel Pentecostal Church at 11:00 AM on Friday August 23, 2013 with graveside service at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town, WV. The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, August 22, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Homes' South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. In lieu of flowers , please send memorial contributions to the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church Youth Department, 36 Laing Drive, Martinsburg, WV 25404.
