Russell S. Liskey, 75, of Hedgesville passed away on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Winchester Medical Center. Born November 19, 1937 in Rockingham Co., VA he was the son of the late Price Abraham and Refa Craun Liskey. He retired as a Unit Chief with the FBI with 30 years of service. Mr. Liskey was a consultant with the Defense Department and did private investigative work with the Berkeley County Prosecuting Attorney's office. He was a member of Hedgesville United Methodist Church. Mr. Liskey, a 28 year prostate cancer survivor, started a support group "Man to Man" with the American Cancer Society in Berkeley Co., Winchester, and Hagerstown. He was a 1956 graduate of Warren County High School and a graduate of Bridgewater College. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Harriett Woody Liskey; one son, Steven W. Liskey and wife, Monni of Odenton, MD; one daughter, Deborah E. Orcino and husband, Battista of Burtonsville, MD; two grandchildren, Christina M. and Dominic Orcino; one brother, Garland C. Liskey and wife, Lillian of Hedgesville and Fort Myers, FL; niece, Carolyn E. Thompson and husband, Jack; and nephew, Alan R. Byrd; great-nephew, J.T. Thompson; two brothers-in-law, G. V. Juliano and wife, Caroline of Woodstock, VA and Thomas L. Woody and son, Justin of Front Royal, VA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00AM at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with visitation from 10:00AM to 11:00AM prior to services with Rev. Dr. George Earle, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal, VA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hedgesville United Methodist Church, 201 S.
