Judy Martin

Judy Paula Spence Martin, 60, of Winchester, died Friday, October 19, 2012 at Winchester Medical Center. Mrs. Martin was born December 12, 1951 in Woodstock, VA; the daughter of James A. and Lillie G. Burcham Spence. She was employed by Valley Health at Winchester Medical Center. She was a member of New Covenant Church. She married Walter E. Martin, Jr. on June 27, 1970 in Winchester. Along with her husband and her mother, she is survived by her children, Robert E. Martin and his wife, Lori M. Martin of Winchester, Jeffrey S. Martin and his wife, Jamie N. Martin of Front Royal and Penny L. Lloyd of Winchester; her sisters, Mary Peacoe, Hilda Peacoe, EllaMae Capozio all of Winchester, Kathy Tharpe of Middletown, VA and Peggy Grady of Winchester; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at New Covenant Church with Rev. Steve Wymer officiating. Burial will be private.
