Dr. Ronald Trenton Acton, Ontario Obituary

Dr. Ronald Trenton

Gone but will never be forgotten. We suddenly and so sadly lost our devoted loving husband and father, Ron Trenton, on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the age of 65. He left us so suddenly and so shockingly of a heart attack, while riding his motorcycle to his favourite place, his cottage on Little Redstone Lake in the Haliburton Highlands. Ron was a devoted, caring and loving husband of almost 40 years to Carolyn Trenton (née Henderson). He was a proud father who found the greatest amount of joy in giving all that he had to his children Candace (Dave), Julia (Kevin) and Adam (Christina). He was the best Grandpa to his 4 boys, Logan, Will, Aaron and Ben who will miss Grandpa’s sense of adventure and satisfying their curiosities of the world around them. Ron’s father, Alex and mother, Grace Trenton were always very proud of their dear son. He was the son-in-law of Ed and the late Thelma Henderson. Sadly he will be missed by his loving siblings, Janice Marshall (Bob), Alex (Kelly), Gary (Lynn) and Kristel (Stuart). He was a beloved uncle and friend because of his charismatic, kind and thoughtful nature. Grandpets, Rocky, Lexie and Abby will miss all the special attention and love. He was well loved by many pet owners in the community as a veterinarian of 35 years in Halton Hills. His caring nature and genuine concern for the well being of his patients was always respected and appreciated by his clients. We find comfort in all the memories and impact he had on all of us. He will forever live in the hearts of all those he touched and the wonderful memories that we will continue to share. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton on Wednesday, August 8th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity United Church, 70 Mill Street East, Acton on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 2 p.m. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Upper Credit Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
