John Rogowski

BARRE - John J. Rogowski Sr., 92 passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012. He is predeceased by his wife Angeline (Prada) Rogowski in 1972. He leaves 2 sons, John J. Jr. of Barre and Edward R. & his wife Rose of Hardwick; 2 daughters, Cynthia Gary & her husband Bill of East Douglas, MA and Theresa A. and Skip of Barre; 5 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; 2 nephews and his life partner Irene Bond of Barre. John was born in Barre the son of the late Joseph & Ann (Skyniarz) Rogowski and he graduated from Barre High School. He was a foreman for the State of MA. Highway Dept. for 28 years until he retired. John was a WWII Airforce Veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post 2 in Barre. He was also a member of the South Barre Rod & Gun Club and a life member of the Barre Sportsman Club. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 10-11 AM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 96 S. Barre Rd., Barre. The funeral will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.Burial with military honors will be in St. Josephs Cemetery.
