Dylan McKae Rodgers, 19, of Paducah died Wednesday in Paducah as a result of a car accident.
He was born November 10, 1992, in Paducah, Kentucky, and was a graduate of Heath High School. Dylan is described by his family as being a jokester, an avid volunteer for his grandmother at Martha’s Vineyard and for his mother with animal rescue, and having a very creative and artistic mind, especially building and mechanics. He loved racing four-wheelers and dirt bikes. His love for his family and his kind, generous heart is what will be remembered most.
He is survived by his mother, Christie Bell of Paducah; his father, Terry Rodgers and wife Judy of Paducah; brothers, Payton Rodgers and T.K. Kemper, both of Paducah; grandparents, Martha Bell of Paducah, Margaret and Joe Bearinger of Tampa, Fla., Randall and Nola Rodgers of Ledbetter, and Rachel Adkins of Paducah; aunts, Tina Probst of Citrus Springs, Fla., and Melinda Ringstaff of West Paducah; and local cousins, Christian and Christopher Ringstaff and Erin and Lyndsey Probst.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Keith Tilford and the Rev. Bob Berkley officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
