Patricia died peacefully at her Tacoma home with her family members at her side. She married Richard Emerson Cunard Nov. 7, 1955, who preceded her in death on June 10, 1976. She was fortunate to find love a second time and married Robert Theodore Blankenship on May 16, 1980. Robert preceded her in death on June 9, 1986. Patricia had six children: Michael Richard Cunard who preceded her in death on July 31, 2004. She is survived by daughters: Candyce Briley Lukens of Winchester, VA; Donna Diane Bias of Tacoma, WA; Shirley Stargel of Tacoma, WA; Carol Lynn Smith of Duvall, WA; and son Kevin Anders Cunard of Las Vegas, NV. Patricia was blessed with twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was raised in Salt Lake City, UT and was very involved in dance and music. She had the great honor of being the youngest dancer accepted as a member of the Utah Ballet Co. The announcement was made by placing her picture on the front page of the Salt Lake City Tribune newspaper. The picture was the first color picture to appear in the Salt Lake City Tribune. Patricia was very busy raising her children. She loved the arts and travel. After raising her children, she spent as much time as she could traveling, enjoying different cultures. Mom, we're very happy you are joining those you loved and have gone before, those of us you leave behind will miss you forever. We love you always.
