In Loving Memory of James “Jim” Jerrold Craig It is with great sorrow that we announce his peaceful passing with his family by his side, Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital after a short battle with cancer at the age of 69. Jim is the beloved husband of Linda Craig, who for the last 3 months never left his side. He is predeceased by both his parents, Clival and Vera Craig. Special son-in-law of Esther Gray and Earl Gray (predeceased). Loving and caring father of Steven Craig (predeceased), Robert Carmichael (wife Christina) and Kimberly Holmberg (husband Brent). Cherished grandpa “G-Pa” of his granddaughters Britney and Brooke Holmberg, Kelly Carmichael, Stephanie Craig and baby Matthew Craig (predeceased). Brother of Jac Craig (predeceased), (wife Joyce). Brother-in-law of Richard Gray (wife Terry) and Brian Gray (predeceased) (wife Debbie). Sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews. Special uncle of Lisa Clough (husband John) and Jennifer Watson (husband Simon). Jim was known as a quiet man, a man of few words. After retiring from Falconbridge, Jim loved to spend time at his camp on Birch Island where he enjoyed playing cards with his “Bay Friends” and playing pool with his buddies. You could often find him bombing around the camp roads on his golf cart. The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the nurses and personal support workers on the 5th Floor South Tower and the 4th Floor Palliative Care. We cannot thank you enough for all of your kind words, excellent care, support and most of all your compassion. We are forever grateful.
