Services for Wilburn A. Glenn (80) will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 2, 2010 Fairview Baptist Durant, Oklahoma The Reverends Kim McGehee and Allen Pate will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Jack Proffer, Don Weaver, James Thrasher, Jeff Thrasher Ronnie Bowman and Stanley Goolsby. Internment will follow at the Rosehill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma

Wilburn Ardell Glenn was born on Friday, June 28, 1929 in Courtney Flats, Oklahoma to Earl R. and Lillie Violet (Blankenship) Glenn. He passed from this life on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in Denison, Texas at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 2 days. Wilburn married Margie McGehee on June 5, 1951 in Calera, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Bushnell Baptist Church. Wilburn loved Bluegrass and Gospel music and playing his fiddle in several bands in the area. Mr. Glenn greatest passion in life was cheering people up. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
