Carol M. Bigler, 91, formerly of Sheboygan Falls, died Friday, May 4, 2007 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility. She was born December 2, 1915 in Saxeville, Wis., the daughter of the late Fred and Martha (Johnson) Christenson. She married John F. Bigler in Sheboygan Falls on February 26, 1938. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2000. Carol was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Sheboygan Falls where she was a member of the Martha Circle, and taught Nursery Sunday school class for 25 years. Carol was also a member of Royal Neighbors. For many years, she was also treasure of the Sheboyganites Drum and Bugle Corp. Survivors include a daughter, Carol (Leland) Whitman of Sheboygan Falls; four sons, Lonny (Carol) of Waupaca, Jon of Waldo, Tom (Darlene) and Rick (Nancy) Bigler of Sheboygan Falls; eight grandchildren, Denise (Paul) Arpke, Laura Whitman, Eric (Angie)Whitman, Darlene (Paul) Patyk, Randy (Polly) Bigler, Michael and Tim (Leslie) Bigler, Nicole Bigler; four great grandchildren; one brother, Gene Christenson of Sheboygan Falls. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents; four grandchildren; one son, Jerome; and two brothers. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Faith United Methodist Church in Sheboygan Falls, with the Rev. Donald Drollinger, officiating. Burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home, 711 Broadway Avenue, Sheboygan Falls, on Monday, May 7, 2007 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, at the church, 633 Detroit, from 10 :00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM.
