Edna I. Hollins October 29, 1944 - April 6, 2009 Edna I. Hollins, born October 29, 1944 went to be with Christ on April 6, 2009. Edna was born in Brooklyn, New York where she graduated from Franklin K. Lane in 1962. She received her B.A. in Education from Jersey City State College and her M.A. in education from the University of Phoenix in Tucson, Arizona. Edna was primarily a dedicated educator. She worked within the Tucson Unified School District for many years, most recently as assistant principal at White Elementary School. In addition to serving in various capacities in any number of humanitarian agencies, she was also vice president with the Gospel Rescue Mission. She is survived by five brothers, daughter Africa Hollins-Gibbs; three grandchildren, Kiara Pridgett, Tamara Pridgett, Dominic Gibbs, and great- grandchild Arianna M. Pridgett.
