VIRGINIA BEACH - Victoria Lynn Heath, 48, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2006. A native of Massachusetts, she was a special education assistant at Newtown Road Elementary and attended Atlantic Shores Baptist Church. She was committed to her children, husband, family and friends, and her passions included singing in the church choir, raising money for cancer research, and coaching youth soccer. She coached in the Neighborhood Youth Soccer League, the Virginia Beach Sand Soccer Tournament, and the Southside Indoor Soccer League.
She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Heath; two daughters, Emily Heath and Juli Heath; one son, Ben Heath; her mother, Evelyn D. Brown; three sisters, Donna Foston and her husband, Bill, Tammy Blankenship, Michele Gilbert and her husband, Giles; two brothers, Rick Brown and Roger Brown; an uncle, Richard Mitchell; and her beloved dog, Baxter. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Brown; and her aunt, Marian Dean Mitchell.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 23rd from 4:30-6 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 24th at 4:30 p.m. at Atlantic Shores Baptist Church, 1861 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach.
