Ezra Harrison Hill Sr., 87 died Friday, November 12th, 2010. He was born in Anderson County on August 31st, 1923 to the late Ezra Walker and Willie Aileen Long Hill. Ezra served in the United States Armys 34th Infantry Regiment during World War II serving in Japan and the Philippines. He had also been a guard for National Distillers. Survivors include his son, Ezra H. Hill Jr., (Judy) of Versailles, two sisters, Catherine Blankenship and Lillie Martin, one brother, Hansel Hill Sr., two grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Mae Hill, four sisters, Grace Phillips, Alline Masters, Hallie Hill and Juanita Cox, and 3 brothers, Virgil Hill, Stanley Hill and Alfred Hill. Funeral services will be Monday, November 15th, at 1:00 pm, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, with Chap. Roger Outler officiating. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Hill, Mike Hill, Kevin Hill, Jason Hill, Donnie Hill and Lonnie Masters.
