Charles Davis

Charles K. Davis, 77, passed away on June 20, 2016 at his home in Waldoboro. Charles was born on May 14, 1939 son of Keith S. Davis and Vera (Hansen) Davis in Portland, Maine. Charles grew up in Portland, Maine and attended local schools. He graduated from Deering High School achieving membership in the Highest Order of DeMolay-LeChevalier. After high school Charles joined the National Guard for 2 years and then entered the Navy for 4 years. He was an electronics technician at VAST Corporation in South Bristol, an electrician technician for the Kitteredge Industries constructing one man submarines, and an instrumentation technician for FMC. Charles coached Little League in Waldoboro for many in years. He also was a collector of coins, stamps, and matchbooks. He was a loving husband and father who will be missed by his family. Charles is survived by his wife of 53 years, Roberta (Greenleaf) Davis, of Waldoboro; son, Timothy C. Davis of the Dominican Republic; daughter, Brenda Lee Brunick of Waldoboro, son, Bradford H. Davis of Waldoboro; granddaughters, Carrie Lynn Davis of Lewiston and Jessica Brunick of Waldoboro and grandson Charles Brunick of Waldoboro and great granddaughter Aubrey Jean Brunick of Waldoboro. In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles' memory may be made to the Waldoboro Little League, P. O. Box J, Waldoboro, Maine 04572. There will be no services. Hall Funeral Home and Tribute Center in Waldoboro has care of the arrangements.
