<p>Evelyn May Hansen, formerly of Victory Township passed away Saturday, June18, 2016 at Yorkshire Manor in Walker, Michigan.</p><p><br></p><p>She was born on December 18, 1921 in Mason County's Victory Township, the daughter of the late John & Jennie (Cribbs) McKillop. She was a graduate of Scottville High School Class of 1940. She married Charles A. Hansen on September 17, 1949 in Ludington. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2001.</p><p><br></p><p>Evelyn along with her husband farmed the family homestead in Victory Township. She enjoyed crocheting, play pinochle, and especially enjoyed growing orchids.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include two daughters; Carol Hansen of Grand Rapids, MI and Janet (Sigmund) Chranowski of Hampshire, IL, 2 grandchildren; Eric of Rockford, IL and Sara of Marengo, IL, two sisters-in-law; Beverly and Irene Hansen, a brother-in-law; George Hansen, as well as nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by two brothers; Robert McKillop and John McKillop Jr.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial Services for Evelyn May Hansen will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00AM at Oak Grove Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Ludington with Reverend John Hansen officiating. Interment will be in the North Victory Township Cemetery.
