Moore : Dorothy Elizabeth Moore aged 92 years, formerly of Simpson, SK passed away peacefully at the Long Lake Valley Integrated Facility in Imperial SK on Saturday, June 11th, 2016 . A Private Family Service will take place at Fotheringham's Funeral Chapel in Watrous on Wednesday, June 15th, 2016. Interment will take place in Simpson Cemetery . Dorothy was born on February 20, 1924 at Hawarden, SK. Her parents were Alex and Ella Low of Davidson. She had three sisters; Jean (Les) Taylor, Kathleen (Arthur) Morrison, Margaret (Gordon) Crawford and one brother Willie (Marlene) Low. She married Howard Moore of Simpson on June 23, 1947. They had four children; Ronald, Lorna (Bill) Rodman, Robert (Bob) and Roy Moore. Dorothy loved living on the farm and farm life but most of all she loved her children. Her and Howard moved to Simpson after they sold the farm. In July 2007 she moved to Imperial to live and in August 2012 she moved into the Long Lake Valley Integrated Facility in Imperial. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Alex and Ella; her husband Howard; sons, Ronald, Bob and Roy; sisters, Jean Taylor, Kathleen Morrison; brother Willie; brother-in-law Gordon and nephew Murray Crawford. She is survived by daughter, Lorna (Bill) Rodman; granddaughter, Tanya Moore (Nick Booker) and great granddaughter Scarlet Lily; brothers-in-law Art Morrison and Les Taylor; sister Margaret Crawford and sister-in-law Marlene Low; numerous nieces and Nephews.
