Charles Lunt

Charles G. Lunt, 53, of Allenwood, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the River Wood Assistant Living Facility in Lewisburg. Born on April 10, 1963, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Luther and Elizabeth Zimmerman Lunt. On April 14, 1988, in Bordentown, NJ, he married Kandi L. Nilson, who survives at home. Charles was of the protestant faith. He was a 1981 graduate of the Williamsport Area High School. He worked as a Press Operator at Moore Wallace in Lewisburg until retirement. Charles was enlisted in the US Airforce from 1981 until 1985 where he achieved the rank of Sgt. He was awarded the AF Training Ribbon, AF Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, AF Longevity Service Award Ribbon, AF Outstanding Unit Award Ribbon with one Oak Leaf Cluster and the AF Good Conduct Medal. Charles was a member of the Lewisburg American Legion Post 182. He enjoyed playing volleyball and camping. He love to socialize and was always the last one to leave a party. Charles is survived by his wife; two daughters; Heather M. Lamb and her husband, Steve, of Derry N.H., and Ivy L. Lunt of Allenwood, and two grandchildren; Rylie and Nicholas Lamb. Also surviving are five brothers and three sisters. Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by four sisters. In following Charles’ wishes, all services will be private. He would ask that donations in his memory be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society, 505 Eight Ave., Suite 902, New York, NY 10018 Arrangements have been entrusted to Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 106 W.
