Obituary
Clarence C. Mensch, 76, of Barto, passed away June 10, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Albitz) Mensch. They would have celebrated their 50th anniversary on July 9th. Born in Quakertown, he was a son of the late Elias and Eva (Christman) Mensch. Clarence retired from Red Hill Grinding Wheel in Pennsburg in 2014 after working as a finisher there for 30 years. He served his country honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a faithful member of Pennsburg United Church of Christ. He was also a member of the Bally Senior Center and the Post 217 of the American Legion, Oley. Surviving with his wife, are children: Wendy, wife of Craig Smedley, of Bechtelsville; Daryl, and his wife, Kellie, of Pennsburg; and Holly, wife of Irv Lash, of Pennsburg; siblings: Esther, wife of Harold Renninger, of Sassamansville; Ernest, of Red Hill; Mary Friele, of Bradenton, FL; Lawrence, and his wife Sandra, of Douglassville; and grandchildren: Renee, Baylee, Alicia, Weston, Cassie, Jaryn, Aidan, Caleb, Brody, and Derek; and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by siblings: Henry, Harold, Raymond, Wayne, Elias “Pye”, Ruth Ihle, June Ruth, and Jean Keyser. Services: will be at 11 AM on Tuesday at Pennsburg UCC, 775 Main Street, Pennsburg. A viewing will be from 9:30-11 AM at church. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
