Robert Earl Warren On June 7, 2016 Robert Earl Warren of Honaker, Virginia rounded third and made it home to heaven after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born on August 4, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a graduate of Norwood High School. He loved nothing more than his family and tinkering with all manner of gadgets and projects. He was a proud Cincinnatian who loved his Reds and Bengals, the Ohio State Buckeyes, Skyline Chili and North College Hill Bakery. Although sought after by Marshall University and the Cincinnati Reds, rather than a career in baseball, he chose to serve his country. Joining the United States Air Force, he served with distinction for 30 years. He was a member of Finney Baptist Church, a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by the absolute love and center of his life his wife Marguerite Warren, his mother Lillian Halfenberg Brinkman and father Carl Brinkman. He is survived by his three children: Mike Warren of Dublin, OH, David Warren (Vicki) of Bristol, TN and Gerri Johnson of Honaker, VA; grandchildren Aly Johnston (Hayden) of Dublin, OH, Kelsey McKinley (David) of Dayton, OH, Hunter Johnson (Wendee) of Richlands, VA, Hayden Johnson (Courtney Strong) of Charlotte, NC, Eric Warren and Thomas Warren of Bristol, TN; great-grandchildren Harper and Carter Johnston and Sophia Johnson; sister Sandra Rehbock (Jim) of Indian Springs, OH; niece Sherry Rehbock of Fairfield, OH. Funeral services will be conducted in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel in Honaker, VA on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 12 Noon with Rev. Stephen Musick officiating. Entombment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Lebanon, Virginia. Military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 9864 of Lebanon, Virginia. Serving as pallbearers are Hunter Johnson, Hayden Johnson, Eric Warren, Thomas Warren, Hayden Johnston and David McKinley.
