Raymond Loren Havens Obituary

Hudson Falls Raymond Loren “Ray” Havens, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Hudson Falls on November 11, 1931, he was the son of the late Asahel and Ruth (Evans) Havens. Ray was a member of the American Legion Post #0552 in South Glens Falls. He enjoyed watching his birds in the back yard and playing golf. He worked for many years in the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union before his retirement. In addition to his parents, Ray is predeceased by his wife, Jean M. Mullen Havens, a daughter, Heidi Havens, and a son, Robert Havens. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Raeann Willis and husband Richard, Mearl Havens, and Donmarie Pasco and husband Raymond, daughter in-law, Nancy Havens, grandchildren, Carrie Wood, Sarah Raymond and husband Daniel, Joshua Havens and wife Chrystal, Michael Monahan, Jeanarae Willis, Chelsea Havens, and Hunter Havens, great grandchildren, Collin Murphy, Kali Murphy, Mallory Raymond, Macy Raymond, Katie Wood, and Travis Havens, his longtime partner, Elsie O’Donnell and her children: David Morency and his children Kelly, J.C. and Tess Morency, Brian O’Donnell and his children , Michael and Rachel, Kelly O’Donnell, and his daughter Maddy, siblings, Malcom Havens and wife Shirley, Janet Hudson and her longtime partner, Howard Brown, and Curtis Havens and wife June, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Burial with Military Honors will be conducted at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Union Cemetery, Fort Edward. Donations in Ray’s memory may be made to the C.R.
