Bonnie Jean Elliott, 66, of Lebanon and formerly of Nanty Glo, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016, in ManorCare, Lebanon, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Johnstown on April 29, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Warren O. and Leona M. Jones Elliott. Bonnie graduated from Central Cambria High School, Ebensburg. She was a member of Nanty Glo Methodist Church. She loved watching NASCAR and wrestling, doing jigsaw puzzles, listening to country/western music, and adored animals. She was very much a social person and enjoyed talking to people. She is survived by her brother, Alan D. Elliott husband of M. Colleen Elliott of Hummelstown, and his family, Ric Elliott, Amy Gabriele wife of John Gabriele and their daughter, Mary Gabriele, all of Harrisburg. A private family interment will be held in the Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
