Mrs. Peggy C. Tiller, age 75, of the Leemaster section of Vansant, Virginia, passed away Tuesday (May 24, 2015) in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital. Born February 27, 1941 in Buchanan County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Milton and Annie Boyd. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the Big Fox Community Church. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her children, family and friends, but she was “people-person” enjoying meeting and talking with others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harlis Tiller. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Stevens and husband, Brian and Missy Morrison and husband, Aaron all of Lebanon; four sons, Rex Tiller and wife, Hope, Freddie Tiller and wife, Deirdre, and Gary Tiller and wife, Beverly all of Vansant, and Jeff Tiller and wife, Susan of Haysi; four sisters, Viola Coleman, Betty Perkins, and Joan Boyd all of Vansant, and Barbara Evans of Harrisonburg, Virginia; one brother, Rev. Lester Boyd of Claypool Hill; fifteen grandchildren, Misty McCoy, Mandy Tatum, Eden Stevens, Elijah Tiller, Isaac Tiller, Samantha Tiller, Daniel Tiller, Ashley Tiller, Courtney Tiller, Alex Keene, Tyler Smith, Jake Tiller, Chandler Morrison, Marissa Morrison, and Kaden Morrison; five great-grandchildren, David Shortridge, Kolton McCoy, Khloe McCoy, Baylee Tatum, and Paisley Shupe; her dog, Daisy; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Sidney Collins, Dr. Clint Sutherland, Dr. Marcus Williams, Jeanie Childress, and the 3rd Floor Nursing Staff at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Big Fox Community Church with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Curt Baldwin, Chris Boyd, Keith Boyd, Fonnie Boyd, Lonnie Boyd, Bill Boyd, Paul Coleman, Charles Boyd, Tony Perkins, Aaron Evans, Guy Tiller, Lonnie Tiller, Jerry Rice, Lee Stinson, Homer Tiller, Jerry Perkins, George Evans, Darrell Tiller, Stanley Lester, Jack Stinson, Rich Stinson, Mike Stinson, Mark Tiller, Tony Viers, James Boyd, and John Ed Deel. The family will receive friends at the Big Fox Community Church after 6:00 PM Thursday and Friday. Thursday evening services will be conducted by Rev.
