ALEXANDER, Adam - At Woodstock Hospital on Tuesday May 24, 2016. Robert Adam Alexander of Woodstock in his 37th year after a brief battle with cancer. Beloved son of Bob and Louise (nee McQuay) Alexander. Dear brother to Matt (Nitika) and Scott (Andrea). Cherished uncle of Lila and Anaya. Loved nephew of Suzanne (John), Joanne (late Bill), Helen (Murray), Jamie (Sandy), Stephanie (Brian) and will always be remembered by his many cousins and extended family and friends. Adam was an amazing man. He was very active with his friends and staff at W.D.D.S. (Woodstock and District Developmental Services) within their many programs such as; Job Links (Toyota), Life Skills classes (Options) and SOAR (Speaking Out About Rights.) It is with Woodstock Special Olympics that he participated in Curling, Softball, 10 Pin Bowling and Floor Hockey. He was a "friendly visitor" with VON Oxford. Adam was also a member of Huron Park Baptist Church, a place where he found his faith and his community. Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday May 27, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am.
