Teresa Lynn Johnson Libby age 46, wife of Gary Libby Jr., died Saturday May 21, 2016 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond Kentucky. Teresa was born in Madison County to Linda Baker Johnson and the late Garla Johnson, and she was an employee of the Madison County Public Library. Teresa graduated from Berea Community High School, and Berea College and earned her Master’s degree from EKU. Teresa inspired many people in the community, and regularly created opportunities for the women in her life to spend time together exploring art, food, and wine. Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Garla Johnson, her grandfathers, Vester Baker and George F. Johnson.

Teresa is survived by her husband Gary Libby Jr., her mother Linda Baker Johnson, her son Porter Libby, her brother Brian (Jeannie) Johnson, her nephew Clay Johnson, her nieces Hannah and Haley Johnson, and her grandmothers Rachel Baker and Lexie Johnson.

A memorial service will be 2 PM Thursday May 26, 2016 at Lakes Funeral Home, a visitation will be Wednesday from 6-9 pm at Lakes Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.lakesfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Hospice Care Plus 208 Kidd Dr. Berea, KY 40403.
