John Joseph Miller, 81 of Atchison, KS passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Trinity Place, Atchison, KS. Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert Ziegler. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be Monday, May 23, 2016 at Memorial Park, Kansas City, KS. Memorials are suggested to final expenses and may be sent in care of the funeral home. John was born February 4, 1935 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Samuel and Margaret (Moline) Miller, Sr. He worked at Achievement services and Project Concern. John was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and enjoyed fishing. John is survived by two sisters, May Lou Howard, St. Louis, MO, Martha Gallegos, Las Vegas, NV, special friends Susie and Chris Robinson, Atchison, KS, Ron and Judy Cline, Atchison, KS He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Samuel Miller, Jr.
