Gayle Stoddard, 78, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Johnson County Regional Medical Center in Clarksville. She was born October 20, 1937, in Tennessee, the daughter of Bill Huckabee. She was an LCSW and therapist for Johnson County Regional Medical Center and spent her life helping people. She was a counselor and social worker in both a professional and personal capacity. She is survived by 4 daughters, Susan Stoddard, Rebecca Brashear (Terrel), Jolynda Wallace (Robert), and Jennifer Rowell (Everett); a son, Joseph Michael Stoddard (Tim Carvey); 7 grandchildren, Stacy Kendall, William Willcutt, Marshall Duryea, Montgomery Duryea, Robert Stoddard, Rachel Brashear, and John Brasher; 5 great-grandchildren, Kimberly Goyne, Ty Willcutt, Taylor Garrett, Nathan Garrett, and Gracie Garrett; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Kolt Goyne and Carter Goyne; a sister, Shirley Leonard; a brother, Preston Jackson; and all of her work family at Clarksville Senior Care. Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 11, at Lemley Chapel with Rev. Bob Branch officiating. Private burial is in Tate Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday. Pallbearers are Joe Michael Stoddard, William Willcutt, Marshall Duryea, Montgomery Duryea, Robert Stoddard, and John Brashear.
