Sheila J. Mack Collins, 72, of Middletown, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Harrisburg on April 24, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F., Sr., and Evelyn M. Rhan Mack. Sheila retired as a typist from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry. She loved shopping and Christmas; and enjoyed researching genealogy, knitting, crocheting, and collecting spoons and bells. Sheila especially found the most joy in spoiling all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, John J. Hoffner, Jr. husband of Sonya R. of Palmyra, Patrick J. Hoffner husband of Lori of Middletown, and Matthew C. Hoffner husband of Laura of Hummelstown; one daughter, Sherri L. Wagner wife of Charles N. of Orbisonia; two sisters, Patricia A. Villarreal wife of Cosmo of Hummelstown, and Beverly J. Dorsey wife of Lorenzo L. Jr. Harrisburg; two brothers, Kerry L. Mack husband of Marian of Lancaster, and Steven B. Mack husband of Rita of Hershey; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael C. Hoffner and James R. Hoffner; and a brother, Joseph F. Mack, Jr. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 6, 2016, at 3 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with Chaplain Timothy Nickel of Masonic Village Hospice officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family Friday in the funeral home from 2 PM until time of the service.
