Jeffrey D. Kirk, 62, of Decatur, died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Adams Memorial Hospital. Jeff was born on July 10, 1953 in Akron, OH to the late Alva W. and Pauline (Taylor) Kirk. On September 3, 1977 he married Kathleen L. Horan. Jeff attended St. Mark’s United Methodist Church where he had been a member of the Harmonizer Quartet. He was a member of the Decatur 571 Masonic Lodge F. and A.M. He loved doing his “Tire Talks with Jeff” on Youtube. Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Kathleen L. Kirk of Decatur; daughter, Miranda “Mandy” Kirk of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Alyce Joy Ballard of McArthur, OH, Shari (Martin) Voltz of Elgin, IL and Linda (Rod) Robinson of North Canton, OH, many nieces and nephews and his faithful dog “Jack”. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday also at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Gadlage officiating. A Masonic Service will follow.
