Susan M. McLean-Jones

Susan M. McLean-Jones, 56, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of April 27, 2016 at her residence. Born on October 28, 1959 in Youngstown, OH, she was the daughter of Michael and Marie DeCerbo Sfara. Surviving at home is her beloved husband of 18 years, J. Scott Jones, whom she married on October 4, 1997.

Susan had worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance. An active member of St. Lawrence Church, she initiated the craft show, was a member of the Parish Council, and decorated for the holidays and golf outing. Susan also served as a Girl Scout Leader.

In addition to her parents and husband, Susan is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Marie McLean of Ashburn, VA; brother, Mark J. Sfara and wife Karen of Boardman, OH; nephew, Nathan; and nieces, Alison, Melanie, and Stephanie. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael J. Sfara, Jr.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home Saturday at 9:45am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. Lawrence Church of Christ the King Parish, officiated by Father James Downs.

Interment will take place in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
