Blanche Breeding

Blanche Louise Hale Breeding, age 95, of Lebanon, Virginia, passed away Monday (April 25, 2016) at her home. Born June 11, 1920 in the Gardner section of Russell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Stuart Frazier and Minnie Lou Hubbard Hale. She was a graduate of Honaker High School and attended Business College. She attended Rosedale Baptist Church and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Wallace Breeding, infant son, Terry Lee Canter, infant great-granddaughter, Taylor Ann Kethley, brothers, Hobert, Dexter, Howard, and Edward Hale, sisters, Dora Moore, Mabel Hale, Ada Pearson, Ree Mize, Dorothy Bare, Emily Summers, and Pearl Taylor. Survivors include one son, James Frank Canter, Jr. and wife, Linda of Roaring River, North Carolina; two daughters, Brenda Canter of Lebanon and Kathy Renee Richardson and husband, Harold of Raven, Virginia; granddaughters, Lavonne Warder, Angela Gwynn, Brandy Kethley, and Betty Davis; great-grandchildren, Ashley Warder, Jason Warder, Josh Warder, Christian Davis, Madison Davis, Morgan Davis, Cara Davis, Laney Kethley, and Lindsay Kethley; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Jeff Kinder officiating. Entombment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Lebanon, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Stan Hale, Danny Breeding, Steve Miller, Marshal Gwynn, Griffin Davis, and Christian Davis.
