Mr. Harold Gene Hatfield, age 58, of Lebanon, Virginia, passed away Saturday (April 23, 2016) at Maple Grove Nursing Facility. Born May 4, 1957 in Lebanon, Virginia, he was a son of the late Frank and Leona Fuller Hatfield. He was a lifelong resident of the area and had worked with Cumberland Mountain Community Services. Survivors include seven siblings, Roy Hatfield, Wesley Hatfield, Hazel Marie Hatfield, Harry Lee Hatfield, Jackie Dean Hatfield, Betty Sue Sargent, and Jimmy Hatfield; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Jess Whited officiating. Interment will follow in the Coxton Cemetery at Tazewell, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Markel Blankenship, Mike Smith, Harley Smith, Brian Brown, Jr., and Preston Farmer.
