Hazel “Leoda” Williams, 83, of Atkins, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016, at the Atkins Nursing Center. She was born July 25, 1932, on Pea Ridge (Pope County), Arkansas, daughter of the late Ernest and Hazel Reynolds Ennis. She was a life-long resident of Atkins and a member of St. Joe Will Free Will Baptist Church. She was a retired cosmetologist and lived in Pope County all her life. She was one of George Jones’ biggest fans. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Bill Williams; 4 brothers, James Ennis, Johnny Ennis, Billy Joe Ennis, Jerry Ennis; and a brother-in-law, Douglas Patton. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Faith Williams; stepson, Larry Williams; stepdaughter, Sheila Goldsmith; 2 brothers, Walter Ennis (Kathy), and Bobby Ennis (Karen); sister, Sharon Patton; 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Ennis and Carolyn Ennis; seven nephews, Kevin Ennis, Daryl Patton, Jamie Ennis, Scott Ennis, Tommy Patton, Jason Ennis and Bruce Ennis; her only niece, Rebecca Davis; great-nieces and nephews, Chris Ennis, Drew Patton, Courtney Probst, Logan Davis, Skylar Davis, Preston Patton, Lorin Patton, Emma Patton, Cadi Ennis, Hayden Ennis, Jacob Ennis, James Ennis, Kenzie Ennis, Carter Ennis, Colton Ennis, Dawson Ennis, and Hayden Ennis; step-grandson, Michael Whitecotton; and a step-great-grandson, Trenton Whitecotton. Funeral services are 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 27, at St. Joe Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Freddie Goates, Rev. David Downum, and Rev. Jim McNutt officiating. Burial is in St. Joe Cemetery under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, at Lemley Chapel. Pallbearers are nephews.
