Samuel G. Schwartz, 75, of rural Decatur, died at his home on April 21, 2016. Samuel was born on May 14, 1940 to the late William H. and Mary Schwartz. On August 29, 1963 he married Barbara F. Schwartz. Samuel was a member of the Old Order Amish. Survivors include his wife, Barbara F. Schwartz, son, Martin (Mary) Schwartz; three daughters, Edna (Jess) Schwartz, Christine (Sam) Schwartz and Marie Schwartz all of Decatur; five brothers, Dan G. (Leah), Amos G. (Emmie), Enos G. (Irene), Willie G. (Lizzie) and Levi G. (Josephine); three sisters, Mary Ann Schwartz, Lizzie (John L.) and Mandy Eicher. Preceded Samuel in death is a brother, Menno G.; two sisters Josephine and Becky Schwartz; 4 grandchildren, Stephen S., Jerry M., Barbara M. and Emos M. Viewing is Saturday, April 23, 2015 from Noon – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. at the residence of 1342 S. 250 E., Decatur. Funeral Service will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday, April 25th also at 1342 S. 250 E., Decatur. Burial will be in East Salem Cemetery.
