Ruth Dittus

Ruth Helen Dittus, age 92, 1150 Prince Avenue, Erwin passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at her residence. She was a native of Mahanoy City, PA where she lived most of her life before making her home in Erwin five years ago. Mrs. Dittus was a daughter of the late Harry and Lillian Parfitt Redcliffe. She was a Registered Nurse. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Dittus and one son, David Dittus. She leaves behind to cherish her memories four daughters: Page Buskey and Elaine Dittus, both of Erwin, Patricia Griffin and husband, Jim and Virginia Dittus, all of Greer, SC; four grandchildren: Jennifer, Mark, Rebecca and Ian; four great grandchildren: Alyssa, Meagan, Ben and Evan. Two nieces also survive. There will not be a visitation or memorial service. Mrs. Dittus' cremains will be buried at a later date in the Skyview Cemetery, PA.
