Paul Jackson

Paul Eugene Jackson passed away on March 25, 2016 in Milford, Connecticut. Mr. Jackson was born on October 25, 1919 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Joseph Seborn Jackson and Lucille May Jackson. His wife of sixty-three years was the late Alta Lee Jackson. As the patriarch of the family, he was a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather. Mr. Jackson served in the 22nd Bomb Squadron of the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He flew over fifty missions in a B-25 bomber in the China-India-Burma theater. Mr. Jackson had a long and successful career as an executive with the Continental Baking Company. He was an active member of the Milford community and the New Haven Seventh Day Adventist Church. He is survived by his daughter, Jeanie L. Figg and her husband E. Anthony Figg of Washington, DC, his son, Robert A Jackson and his wife Lynne Jackson of New Milford, Connecticut, grandchildren Kara LiCalsi, Jill Fahey, Paul Jackson and Lela Jackson and great grandchildren Emma, Jonathan and Garrett Fahey, Jack and Dylan LiCalsi and Addison Jackson and his dear friend Millicent Corbett. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 5 to 8pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 10am. Interment will follow in King’s Highway Cemetery, Milford with full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Laurel Oaks School, 14 West Shepherd Avenue, Hamden, Connecticut 06514.
