Mabbayad, Alfred Allen Ong – Alf Welcomed to God’s loving Arms on Monday February 8, 2016. Alf was born February 8, 1989 and was a beloved husband of Kassia Mabbayad (née Van Eyk). Dear son of Alfredo and Maxima Mabbayad of Woodstock and dear brother of Marie Mabbayad and Mabigail Barcelo. He was a cherished brother in law of Bertrand Barcelo, Josh and Makenzie Van Eyk, Hayley (Van Eyk) and Tom Hazelwood, Jacob, Megan, Shawna and Trisha Van Eyk. Son in law to Ken and Diane Van Eyk and uncle to Juan Miguel Barcelo and Scarlet Van Eyk. Alf was loved by many and truly lived life with a joyful, kind, and generous heart. Alf will always be remembered for his warm ear to ear smile. His smile was the key that could fit the lock of everybody’s heart and immediately brightened the room when he entered it. Alf had many interests in life and was an avid tech enthusiast and a member of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists. Alf was also an active member of St. Peters Cathedral parish in London. Visitations will be held Friday February 12th 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave Woodstock ON. The church service will be held Saturday February 13th 2016 at 11am at Holy Trinity Church, 1420 Devonshire Avenue Woodstock ON. Reception to follow the Service at CAW (Unifor) Hall Auditorium, 126 Beale Street Woodstock ON.
